OPERATION: RIPTIDESITUATION AND MISSION:
Earlier today, hostile forces seized control of the Main Pumping Station and the Auroa Power Plant in southwest Channels province. Intel reports indicate that the retreating enemy is attempting to sabotage the facility's power grid to wreak havoc in the region and conduct a 'scorched earth' type of operation in a desperate attempt to maintain control. Lastly, the Step Up Startup has also been compromised, and sensitive research is at risk of falling into the wrong hands. There are civilians receiving medical care on site. Our mission is to secure these locations and neutralize any threats before irreversible damage occurs.
CONCEPT OF OPERATION:
We'll depart from F.O.B. Bandit (South Cape Station or another friendly site) under the cover of darkness as a combat diver team. The team will HELOCAST into the AO west of the pumping station. From there, we'll proceed with the mission. Our miniature drones will be useless as the enemy is using short range RCGPS tactical jammers on location. We will have to conduct ground reconnaissance using traditional methods unless we can locate and disable the jammers first. Fortunately, we have good ISR from Cyclops so we're not going in blind.
OBJECTIVES:
Alpha: Secure the Main pumping station, neutralize enemy combatants, and ensure the water supply infrastructure remains intact.
Bravo: Infiltrate the Auroa Power Plant, eliminate hostiles, and safeguard the power grid.
Charlie: Raid the Step Up Startup compound, retrieve sensitive research material, and eliminate any threats to civilians.
